Indeed, as others have mentioned, this is a hidden gem! I wouldn't have even noticed it if not for the Google reviews. The server initially looked a bit unfriendly when we first arrived, but he became much friendlier after a while. We probably just caught him at a busy or wrong time earlier. βMore importantly, the food is outstanding. The steak really impressed my kids; despite having had wagyu and premium steaks elsewhere, they still rated the steak here as their top choice. My lamb rendang nasi lemak was also incredibly flavourful and tender. The only minor let-down was the cendol, as we wished it had a bit more Gula Melaka for that rich sweetness. I also wish this place was air-conditioned but the multiple fans help a little under the hot weather. βStill, this will definitely be our go-to place the next time we are back in Malacca.
A riverside restaurant with a feel of sitting amidst nature. There are 2 ways to go in. One by the riverside and the other through the Hotel 1825. The food is prepared with care and tastes really great. Might take a little long but the wait is worth it. Very limited vege items. Portobello Mushroom pizza is a great dish for vegetarians. (Has onions though) The ordering is done via QR code. The servers are courteous. Many things are electronically done hence the human connection is reduced. A bit of contrast since we are sitting amidst nature like environment. The ambience is great. If you like greenery, u would like this place. A booking of a table is a good idea esp during weekends. The payment can be made via cash, QR or card. Parking is a nightmare around this place. Maybe lucky to get a parking a little away and walk to the restaurant. If you are coming in a small group take a Grab and come.
View is great. The place is super super hot pro max. I dont think will go again. Not sure was just temporary or always was same hot. Service so so. Food also so so. Have to improve more.
